Red & Round

At Open Ateliers Jordaan 2024

De.Studio showed work by Rik Nieuwdorp, The Fool, Vincent Mans and Hans Vos (clockwise from the top).

When I randomly connected these works together for this image, I noticed that they all contain red rounds. Stay observant!

Hans is becoming a big seller. Partly thanks to his website we've built and manage*. His work provokes. In De.Studio at OAJ, people went mad when they saw it, others loved it.

Rik is on his way too, with so many admirerers. This Steve Winwood silkscreen could be his self portrait. Many watchers for Vincent as well, and interaction, but you need a well-filled wallet for a purchase.

The Fool... they sold out in their time! This is a poster, created by that famous artists collective for The Beatles' Apple Boutique in London. And they still sell heavily, seeing the interest in the recently released movie "Be The Fool".

* Yes, De.Studio represents artists and builds websites, for artists and any business and scale.

Except for the yellow ones. We saw quite a few during the take of the first episode of Vincent's dream of a whisky podcast production.

We had a line up of five Scotch Single Malts. Main topic was nosing and tasting.

Tasting, not drinking!
