Hi there! Today we go from Toltec to Web tech in 5 chaptersSpanning 4,000 years, it's a leap for mankind. But on the "Eternal Scale of Art" it is nothing. Between that... blablabla and foolishness.
In July we enjoyed the expositions and events of Latin Hands with Toltec ceremonies and pigments making, wonderful works of art and talented artists with a global reach.
Above you see a diptych by Carlos Nacif, on the wall in De.Studio.
Below, Toltec inspired art by Oms Rocha. Pigments and images are created in a ceremony that dates back to about 2500 years ago.
Enjoy a few more images of the art before scrolling to the next chapter. To the left you see a work by Verola Ahedo. Interested in a work? Some might be still for sale. Although they are in Florence or London now we can get them back.

"I would have done this differently". These words of a twenty-something US tourist/student/expat to her friend, standing in front of Rembrandt's "Self-portrait as the Apostle Paul" at an exhibition in Het Rijks, continuing this blablabla with even more blablabla, still resonate in my head. "Hockney is an early iPad fan, particularly of the Brushes drawing app. He claims Van Gogh would have found it interesting too: ‘I mean, I think he would be working on an iPad now… he would probably draw them on an iPad and send them to his brother.’ What do you think? Find out for yourself in Hockney – Van Gogh: The Joy of Nature." Why does such blablabla stick, seemingly forever? BLABLABLAis a painting by Hans Vos, Paris 2017, acrylic on canvas. It measures 500x150 centimeters. It's a statement about blablabla. If it doesn't fit your wall, it may fit your foyer. Interested in buying? Ask us.
A few more things about Hans Vos: 1 - We do stuff for this upcoming vulnerable artist. In De Telegraaf, on television and on expo
In De Telegraaf (Amsterdam and surroundings edition) of August 8 there is an article about the movie Be The Fool. On VPRO's "Uur van de Wolf", on August 20 at 22:10 (when the clock smiles), the television version will be broadcasted. In De.Studio an exhibition is scheduled with presentations dedicated to the Finches' family story that's related to The Fool. Opening ceremony on October 25. Until January 5, 2025. Stay tuned for details and read about it on our website.

Art's a factSo many opinions and philosophical standpoints, often opinion-oriented. As I see it and as I have discovered it by turning my painting "The First Artists - Mondriaan On The Rocks" into an animation, there was first art, then light, and then the rest. The cave is symbolic, as the first art is preserved in caves and Plato's philosophy of the cave applies.
